Shallow sand filter Technique Description


TX fully auto control Shallow sand filtering system is composed of multipal standand high speed sand cylinders in which there

are some special designed water catchment and water distributors with special dual direction auto washing valves. It can

realize single clyinder backwashing one by one under normal operation condition ,The whose running period by auto control

with small backwash water volume,easy operation , large filtering capacity .

Mounting way can be horizontal or vertical option as per demand.

This filter is suitable for both industrialand civil engineering circulated water treatment.

Working Principal

After absorbing the overseas advanced technology we have made joint effortto develop new generation TX sery auto filter system with compact structure. Its special design can make output water turbidity below 0.5 NTU, the impurities filtering precision reach 5um.this machine can carry on auto backwash with lower running cost.

Flushing filter status:

when system is under filtering status, the unfiltered water will carry on auto water distribution averagely via our speical designed distributor by via of layer flow status going through inside media layer(Refined quartz sand or garnet grains), when water flow go through media layer ,the impurites will stop on side and the clean water will go down through bottom water cachement for collection.

Backwash Condition

As impurities in the filler layer continuous accumulation, the internal press head loss will continue to increase. When the inlet and outlet water pressure head loss reaches the set value, the system will automatically activate the constant pressure device to convert it to backwash state, when the end of this station backwash, hydraulic valve to change the direction of the water one by one in order to achieve backwash easier cleaning accumulate impurities.

When the system is in the backwash condition, filtration will continue operation,in which, the backwash sand cylinder dont go filtering , other standard cylinders will go on with filtering .

The filtered clean water , part is supplied for backwashing filter , the other is still deliveryed to the user, and the backwash dirty water will be discharged out through backwash valve .

In high speed sand cylinder auto clean and filter system, special designed water cachement can make the media clean each other to maximumize the backwash efficiency and reduce the needed clean water for backwash with no media leakage or running together with the water.

One standard cylinder backwash will last for 2 minutes,then stop with its head lost reducing to a reasonable extent, constant pressure device reset signal is given, the hydraulic valve is returned to the filtering state, the next standard cell Sand Filter is ready to enter the backwash state.

Comment:for those morer large flow volume , we can use more filter unit by connecgting with different tube , valve with standard DIN joints.

Characteristgic of the unit

1.With small volume and footprint ,compact structure ,horizontal or vertical optional mounting indoor or outdoor to save cost and room.

2. With good errosion-proof and long life.

3. With large filter volume- can be boosted from 30m3/h into 2500 m3/h and large filter speed : around 40m/h, Maximum can reach 60m/h as per waer quality. with excellent efficiency-impurities precision can reach below 0.10mm with output trubidity below 0.5NTU.

4.automatic intelligent backwash with no man handle use filter water, no need configue with boosting pump and backwash pump. Backwash lasts around 2-3min with backwash flow<3m³.

5.constand water supply;when backwashing, filting process continue running to suppy water.

6.Adopt special water distribution and cachement device to make whole filtering sytem as layer flow and stable running.

7. Preferably using refined quartz sand or garnet as a filter medium, according to the water quality to select, Min filter media diameter can be 0.16mm

8.Lower cost of long term operation by ways of saving water, electrictiy and maintenance charge

Electricity saving:special backwash valve to make all cylinder not backwash simulaneously but separatively one after another under normal clean water supply condition without any backwash pumps. Meanwhile, the filter pump head can be 6-7m shorter than other pumps.

Water saving:special water complemetary or collectiong deivce can make its backwash perid go stably and effectivly without configuring compressed air .so the demand backwawh water is small , single filter cylinder backwash need water volume is only 1 m3 per minutes for lasting 2 or 3 minutes to finish one circle.

Maintenance charge saving:

the whole system backwash runs only by specialdesigned multipal fuction valves which has feature of 10-year running no damage , long life and lower management cost instead of any mechnical or elecricl driven valves.

Two-way hydraulic control diaphragm

1. Working principle

The switch of the diaphragm valve is controlled by reinforced rubber diaphragm under pressure of pipeline: When the pressure medium enter(water or gas) valve control chamber, the diaphragm pressed downfoward to close the valve channel , when the control chamber pressure output exhaust air or running under downstream pipeline the diaphragm rises to make the valve channel open.

This valve doesn’t happen corrosion nor locking phenomenon with great stability due to no shaft, seal gasket and positioning seat. The only parts in its channel is diaphragm.

Our Various structural and control forms (manual and automatic) is ideal option for a variety of fluid control needs.
